Our story

Parklands Dart Club is a community-based sports club established in 1957 in Cape Town, South Africa. For nearly seven decades we have provided a space for players of all ages and backgrounds to engage in competitive darts, build friendships, and stay active within a structured league environment.

We are affiliated with the South Peninsula Recreational Association (SPRA), Cape Town Darts, and Darts South Africa, cementing our place as a respected institution in the local sporting landscape.

What we do

The club fields four competitive league teams, plays league fixtures on Tuesdays and Thursdays, holds open practice on Saturdays, and participates in structured regional competition — all while fostering a strong sense of community through sport and social engagement.

Our players are active every week, which makes the club a consistent presence in the Cape Town darts community.

Local is lekker

Deeply rooted in the community, Parklands Dart Club has built a reputation as a trusted and familiar presence over decades. It is more than just a place to play.

It is a space where connections are formed, friendships are maintained, and local pride is celebrated. Regularly active across Cape Town's league circuit, the club remains a consistent and respected part of the local sporting landscape.

Our motto

The Latin phrase Temet Nosce means "know thyself" — a philosophy that guides our club culture of self-improvement, discipline and steady growth, both on and off the board.
